Water!

Everything looks like it's dying off, but it's not. This is a crucial time for your garden. Everything is getting ready for the dormant winter period yet it still needs nutrients and water up until late fall. Same goes for dividing and moving plants. Give them a good soak the day before. They will thank you for it. Get cracking!
