New IEP group on the cards..

IEP Soup Social

As a mother of two - both having IEP's for separate reasons - I often find myself questioning my abilities as a parent.

Am I doing the right thing?  Are they going to the best school for their learning disabilities and behavioral issues?  How do I research my options?

I find myself wishing I had more friends who could relate to these particular parenting challenges. I know I must not be alone in desiring a circle of fellow parents who could help me gather more knowledge on the subject (as well as support). 

With this in mind, I'd like to begin hosting a monthly IEP Soup Social for Brooklyn parents of children using an Individualized Education Program to succeed in school. 

I host socials for various reasons; most of which to bring people together over a shared meal. I am excited to offer a social related to a subject that is very dear to my heart; I'm looking forward to meeting new faces and friends with similar experiences.
