Out with a bang
Hey, a cracking Last Soup Social of 2013 today mind. Full to bursting with 17 local Mum's....(one of which had a newborn for us all to coo over). Everyone happy to be here, share the table over some tasty fodder, and of course a jolly good natter.
Food 52 and Nigella Lawson blessed the social with their mouthwatering recipes - A creamy Potato Soup With Bacon Vinaigrette, Kale and Sausage savory Tart, Chocolate Orange Cake with Whiskey whipped cream.
Everyone brought a $10 secret santa gift wrapped - so all unraveled a little treat with dessert. You cant beat that with a stick. Each and all left sated and happy to have caught up. A decadent monthly treat which most Mums forget to partake in.
Day-time Socials are once a month, always a super friendly crowd, scrumptious bites (even though l say so myself), and super relaxed for anyone to come join. If you have a 2 hour window once a month come Wednesdays, live in the Carroll Gardens area, love good home-cooked food and would love to meet new folks or network while doing so......come join in.
