"A good and sweet new year"

l decided that today rather than raid the pantry post lunch ( like clockwork) for some of my kids sweeties , that l should think outside the box and try a smidge harder to stay clear of the choc-ies.  So having rustled through the news paper and scanned some food blogs... of course Apples and Honey is the news today given Rosh Hashanah. No frills, l cut apple matchsticks super thin,drizzled them with my favourite honey and just a flick of sea salt . Super simple, really delicious and lm sure happy news for the kids.
